Oh wow! Just got the Polar Bear v5 and this thing is awesome. Seeing pics and videos on the site do not do this thing justice. Cannot wait for the temps to drop put this thing through its paces. It’s hands down, or paws, the wildest jacket I’ve ever purchased.

I got the polar bear and just love it! It’s comfy, warm, and looks frickin’ awesome! Even off the slopes I can see myself wearing this around town on good days. 10/10 would recommend!

So, I am a fan of bold statements, be it a sequined tux jacket or my Wolf Wildcoat. I feel in love with it immediately for its style, its weight, and its warmth. The thing is, once my wife tried it on, she wanted one. She is the opposite of me and tries desperately to not be noticed, but the dang coats are so warm and so practical she couldn't help it. So, when you see a wolf and a polar bear walking in downtown Denver, just know we are as warm and as cool as we look.

Love the coat; I put it on and my 3 Great Pyrenees accepted me into the pack as one of their own! The fur on the coat is almost indistinguishable from the Pyr's. The coat is really warm, and good for at least single digits (F) with no other gloves, scarfs, etc. so far. It is heavy, but not unexpectedly so. This coat is very well made keeps me extremely warm. Every time I wear it out I get tons of compliments and people asking where they can get one. Definitely a conversation starter.

The coat arrived quickly even over the holiday season. Fits like a dream and the best coat I've ever had. Wore it in Wisconsin winter while 9 degrees and 30mph winds and didn't feel a thing. Stayed extremely warm through it all. Had multiple people stop me, ask questions and say how much they love it and ask where to get one. Even my wife is saving for one now. Worth every penny!!! This coat is so legit! The best and warmest coat ever!! I’m a skier and also a crossing guard for a couple schools. The kids are loving that a polar bear is now keeping them safe while crossing the streets! When you wear it people will want your picture! Paws down, best coat I have ever owned. As many, I can't stand being cold. Cold I was not. Originally purchased as a somewhat impulse buy for a cold weather college playoff game. I was the definition of warm in 7 degree windchill, needing to take off my hat eventually. It sheltered the wind and cold like a champ, and the oversized pockets may have smuggled beers for the bear. Above the functionality, which was top notch, I could bearly get to the seats with all the "high paws" on the walk through the stadium. Great job, great coat!

Not only is this coat the most awesome looking thing I own, the quality is spectacular. I wore this out in 20° weather, and I was toasty as can be. I was snug as a bug in a rug, and I was the talk of the town. Love this thing!

Sweet Jesus, this is one badass jacket! The quality is off the charts. The design is amazing. So warm. So epic in every way.... just don't stand too close to the fire.

I bought this coat becuae inlove bears and wanted to wear it to go to see real polar bears. When it arrived i instantly knew it is a keeper. I am 120 lbs 5'6. Ordered Small and exchanged for XS hassle free.
It is heavy coat but i absolutely love it, got attention all day long.
I wish i would not live in Florida so i can wear it more often!

TL;DR; I couldn’t be happier with my new Wildcoat!

- Attention: This coat really, REALLY stands out. In four hours at the slopes, I’ll easily receive 20 compliments from strangers. At first it was shocking, but at this point it’s just expected haha. Everyone seems to love it which makes it even more fun to wear.

- Warmth: The coat is extremely warm. If actively snowboarding or skiing, I’d recommend not wearing it with all attachments on above 30 degrees. I can wear just the coat and a moisturizer wicking tee at 25 degrees and still be hot at the bottom of a run. Wildcoat isn’t joking when they say it’ll be the warmest coat you’ve ever worn.

- Functionality: The coat is very functional with double zippers, large zip and Velcro pockets. All magnets are strong and pieces can be removed if needed (paws and/or arms). The head also fits over a helmet. The head can sometimes obstruct your views if the hood is down and it can restrict side to side head movement if up over the helmet.

- Waterproofing: Excellent. The fur does get wet and icy, but you can shake it off just like a dog would which works quite well. It dries quickly enough for back-to-back ski days if hung up in a warm, dry place.

- Value: At ~$450, the coat is exceptional value. To be honest, I’m surprised it costs as little as it does. The build quality is top notch, it’s warm and waterproof, and it’s so much fun to wear! In my opinion the value exceeds that of perhaps any other ski clothing purchasable.

This coat is outstanding and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Six stars if it were possible. Go get one for yourself, then thank me later.

I live in the pnw and I am always cold during the winter. I think that is about to change now that I have this polar bear coat. This thing is perfectly toasty and adorable. I get compliments every place I go in it and it keeps me warm when all my other coats have left me chilly. It’s well made with quality construction and it feels like a legit snowboard jacket. If you want to stand out and stay warm, buy this damn jacket!

I cannot wait to get on the slopes this year and be the bad bear man on a board, in all white! This coat is so warm, but not way way too hot because this has breathability, unlike all of the many uncomfortable sweaty, plastic lined, cheap, air tight, ski jackets I've had in the past. There was definitely engineering, thought, and creativity that went into this product's construction. It's obviously unique and the quality is pristine! I expect this to last a very very long time. My man got it for me for my birthday at the end of the cold season last year, so I had not had a chance to wear it publicly until just this week when the temp dropped. I got 7 compliments on this coat on my way into the office, on the first day! LOL. The company itself also cares. The first jacket we got was a Medium and was just a bit too snug. Without question they shipped us another one that was bigger along with a packing slip to send the other back, no questions asked! The replacement also came incredibly quickly. WOW! They stand behind their stuff, and have made a HUGE HUGE fan in us! WILDCOAT has been graded as follows: Solid A for quality! Solid A for warmth! Solid A for style! & SUPER A++ for service! UPDATE ON POLAR BEAR COAT ***

PERFORMANCE:
I finally got to wear my Polar Bear snowboarding last weekend, which thankfully the mountain got snow dumped on it by mother nature the day prior and there were powder drifts every where! The weather ended up getting down to negative 6 degrees on the mountain during our trip, and I am so pleased to say that I was a very comfortably warm fur ball even in that bitter cold where some of my buddies were not so lucky. Not only did the Head / Hood expand perfectly to cover my helmet, the lift of the jacket put the back fur lined side of the zipper perfectly where a balaclava would sit to keep my face warm. I finally did not have to take a small bag with me as the multitude of pockets were ample space for all i needed on this run. The claw mitts that flop down over my gloves were just the extra added insulation I needed to keep my fingers from freezing whereas when the mitts were not over my fingers they were getting to cold! Thanks for the save on that one! Finally, I was curious how the fur would hold up. I don't think one was out of place when I got back home. I did have to run a brush through it once quickly to smooth the fur where it had gotten snow turned water, but it's as white and furry as the day I opened it.

Killer product guys, really my fave coat I have ever owned, and like that woman said it is making me super duper happy! Couple updated pics too below.

Sorry for the long review here, but I could not leave out the response to those others that were on the mountain that weekend. I could not walk anywhere, literally without someone commenting on how great my coat was, someone even told me that I was making a lot of poeple and kids happy because of this Coat. I probably got asked to take 15 plus pictures with families, although 3 of those ended up with frightened young children which to me means the pic was only the moms ideas. LOL.

fast shipping, was delivered right before our ski trip. got numerous compliments from men, women, and kids on the mountain - definitely a convo starter. as others have stated, the coat is very warm and the sizing is generous. Generally well made, but dont try to hang it by the loop on the back of the jacket. As soon as I did that, the loop ripped under the weight of the coat. Doh!
